Prior to
starting her own business, Amy Pierce-Wolf worked for another
medical billing company for six years. She was one of the
first two employees hired, allowing her to be personally
mentored by the owner. Since she began working for the company
at such an early stage in it’s growth, it allowed her to
have a thorough understanding of the inner workings and all
aspects of a thriving billing company. As the organization
expanded, she was promoted to team lead and was put in charge
of training new employees as well as overseeing current
employee’s accounts receivables. She was also promoted to
Accounting Assistant and was responsible for accounts payable
for eight physicians as well as continuing the billing for
three providers and remaining a team lead.
Being
a highly motivated individual, she pursued a higher education
while working full time. She has received two Associate in
Arts degrees in Business and Commerce, and Liberal Arts and is
continuing her education, with just a few classes remaining
before she will earn a Bachelors in Business with a
concentration in Accounting from California State University
Sacramento. In addition, she regularly attends medical billing
conferences to further her billing knowledge. She feels that
experience combined with a continuing education is essential
for running a successful business.
