AMY WOLF, Founder and President
Amy Wolf concentrates on the development and optimization of VMM’s billing and
coding practices for VMM. She began working in the medical billing field in 1999.
She worked for a Northern California billing company for 5 years, where, after 2
years, she became very involved on the management side and learned the inner
workings of a billing company while developing her leadership skills. This experience,
combined with her educational background and her entrepreneurial drive, led to
the founding of VMM in 2002. She obtained her Bachelors in Business with a
concentration in Accounting from California State University Sacramento. She
has also obtained her Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) and
Certified Medical Coder (CMC) certificates. Amy has presented for the San Joaquin
County Medical Society’s Managers’ meetings. She is a member of the California
Medical Group Management Association (CMGMA) and belongs to three Medical
Group Management Association (MGMA) regions (Sacramento, Central Valley, and
Northern California/Bay Area). She also belongs to the Healthcare Billing and
Management Association (HBMA), American Academy of Professional Coders
(AAPC), and American Medical Billing Association (AMBA). She is continually
increasing her knowledge in order to produce a thriving, successful company.
